The In-Person run will be held on November 5, 2023, the Virtual Run can be completed from October 29 to November 5, 2023.

Yes, this year we will also have an option for virtual participation, this means you can join us from anywhere in the world for the Tassal Ten, the Bendigo Five or Annabelle’s Run. You can run the virtual event from October 29 to November 5, 2023. Record your time with an app such as Runkeeper, Strava, MapMyRun, Nike+ Run Club or other using your phone or watch. Submit a screenshot of your run (email to run@doverfunrun.org) and we will display your time on the virtual leaderboard. You will receive an electronic certificate.

Bibs for the In-Person run can be picked up from the Dover Hardware on Saturday, November 4 from 10am to 2pm. Bibs can also be picked up from the registration desk from 8am on the day of the run. Make sure you get there early to grab your bibs in time for your run. You must wear your bib on the front of your shirt during the race, with your bib number clearly visible.

Tassal Ten starts at 9am, the Bendigo Five at 9.05 am and Annabelle’s Run starts at 10.30am.
Bags can be left, at your own risk, at the registration desk. Please do not leave valuables in bags as this area is not secure.

There are toilets at the Kent Beach Playground area.
There is parking all around Dover. Try the Dover RSL on Chapman Avenue, a short walk to the race start.
There will be some road closures in place to ensure the safety of participants, volunteers and spectators:
– Kent Beach Road from Fritton Drive to Esperance Coast Road from 8:30am – 10am
– Kent Beach Road from Station Road to Fritton Drive from 8:45am – 9:15am
– Entrances to both Dover Wharf and Dover boat ramp from 9am – 11:30am
– Esplanade Road from 8:45am – 1pm
Of course! The more fun you have at the event the better, so feel free to dress up in your favourite running gear, all-weather make-up or even a tiara and tutu. Consider the weather, and dress sensibly!

Yes. Please start at the back of the field for the safety of the child as well as the other participants.
We live in Tasmania! The event will only be cancelled if there are severe weather conditions such as flash flooding, thunder and lightning, strong winds or other unforeseen problems with the course. The event organiser reserves the right to cancel the event at short notice depending on race conditions. As per our waiver, no refunds will be offered if the event is cancelled as a result of conditions out of the control of the event organiser.
All runners in the Tassal Ten, the Bendigo Five and children entering Annabelle’s Run will receive a finisher medal. There will be prizes for place getters in the Tassal Ten and Bendigo Five. Spot prizes will be awarded in the Annabelle’s Run . Everyone entering the virtual Tassal Ten, the Five and Annabelle’s Run will receive an electronic certificate.
Tassal Ten and Bendigo Five: your time will be recorded as you cross the finish line.
Annabelle’s Run: Children will be asked to line up in the finish line funnel, where their time and placing will be recorded. No time will be recorded for parents. Results will be published on our website and on our Facebook page. But please be patient – this may take a little while!
The official cut off time for the Tassal Ten is 2 hours.
There is no cut off time for Annabelle’s Run and the Bendigo Five.
Tassal Ten: Mostly flat with a couple of hills. Dirt tracks, shared bitumen roads and concrete footpaths.
Bendigo Five: Mostly flat with a couple of hills. Dirt tracks, shared bitumen roads and concrete footpaths.
Annabelle’s Run: Flat, dirt tracks, shared bitumen and concrete footpaths.
We will have 1 drink station on the Tassal Ten course and there will be water available at the start/finish line. You will pass the start/finish line at around the halfway mark during the TT run. There will be no facilities for refilling of water bottles. Please bring along enough water for your and your children’s hydration needs.
There is basic first-aid available at the start/finish line. If you don’t feel well, or hurt yourself during the run, report to the marshals on the course or at the finish line or ask another competitor for help.
